Sue Sokol

Having lived in Michigan, Maryland and Maine, especially on Patten Pond, Sue appreciates lakes and ponds. As a former member of the “Dam” Committee, she helped organize repairs of the Lower Patten Pond dam in 2010 and 2023. She is also a member of Surry’s Comprehensive Plan Committee and plans to help implement its objectives and strategies to continue to maintain the dam and protect Patten Pond, as well as many of the natural resources in surrounding areas, so we can enjoy them with our friends and family for many years into the future.
